Elizabeth (Betty) is  the Vice President-Operations of Xavier Associates and Gatti & Associates, both national executive search firms headquartered in the greater Boston area.  In this capacity, Betty is responsible for operations management, sales and marketing, new product development, strategic planning, and finance.

Xavier Associates is a leading, national search/research firm located in North Easton, Massachusetts.  They are a leader in customized staffing solutions based on the specific needs of their clients.  Xavier specializes in the identification and recruitment of passive as well as active candidates, with a particular expertise in the area of diversity.

Gatti & Associates is a national premier, executive search firm, specializing in the placement of human resource professionals.  Their client list includes many of the Fortune 500 companies across the country.

Prior to joining Xavier/Gatti, Betty was the executive assistant to the Chairman and CEO of Knapp Shoes.  Knapp, one of the nation’s leading safety footwear companies, was acquired by Iron Age in 1996.  Betty was involved with the due diligence and acquisition planning from inception until closing.  Before Knapp, Betty was the executive assistant to the Chairman and CEO of Hills Department Stores, a chain of 211 discount department stores throughout the Midwest.  There she gained experience in the areas of methods & procedures, human resources, and executive management.  Prior to that, she was the executive assistant to the Chairman and CEO of BPI Packaging, a producer of high density polyethylene shopping bags for supermarkets and retail organizations nationwide.  Her involvement at BPI included shareholder relations and executive management.

Earlier in her career, Betty worked in academia assisting with the mainstreaming of hearing impaired students into the public school system with the READS Collaborative.

Betty lives with her family in Lakeville, Massachusetts and enjoys fishing and motorcycle riding.
