Bruce T. Wright, a human resources consultant from Sudbury, MA, has been 
selected as the 2004 recipient of the Hero In Human Resources Award.  This 
annual award is presented by Gatti & Associates and Xavier Associates, national 
search firms headquartered in Medfield. 

Wright was recognized for his life-long unselfish commitment to help others to 
succeed no matter the circumstances.  “Regardless of his own challenges, Bruce 
will focus on doing what he has to do to help others in need,” said Bob Gatti, 
president of the two firms.

A 25-year veteran in the human resources field, Wright has worked for Aetna Life,
Digital Equipment Corporation and Nashua Corporation to name a few of his 
former companies.  He is a graduate of Drake University and has an MS from the 
University of Hartford.   Accompanied by his wife Gail and surrounded by dozens 
of his friends and colleagues, Wright, with much humility, accepted the award.

The Hero In Human Resources Award is presented annually to professionals who 
distinguish themselves in their field.  Chuck Campbell, Argyle Consulting and Phil
Lockwood, Serono Labs, were co-recipients in 2003 for their determined work in 
assisting human resources professionals who were between jobs.
