Human Resources Manager

Greater Boston

 

Our client, a successful financial institution in the greater Boston area is seeking a Human Resources Manager to join their team. The role will have broad Human resources responsibilities including working with assigned line organizations as well as developing and implementing corporate wide programs.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Coaching leaders on employee relations, compensation, staffing as needed. Working with managers proactively to identify issues and trends.

  • Act as a resource to employees for questions and concerns.

  • Recruit and interview for key positions within line groups

  • Lead efforts around career pathing and development

  • Drive talent management initiatives

  • Take ownership on employee headcount data and workforce issues

  • Participate with training and development initiatives

  • Create, manage and/or participate in corporate wide HR initiatives

Requirements:

  • Must come from a financial services background and demonstrate an understanding and passion for the business

  • Must have strong analytical skills and be data driven

  • Must have a creative problem solving approach

  • Must be smart, curious, and progressive

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong project management skills

  • A minimum of 7 years of Human Resources experience required. College degree required, Masters Degree preferred.
