We have been retained by a
premier institution of
higher education in the
Greater Boston area as they
seek an outstanding Director
of Compensation. Reporting
to the Director of Rewards
and System, the Director of
Compensation leads the
planning, design,
implementation and
administration of the
University’s compensation
programs with an eye toward
attracting and retaining top
talent. The Director of
Compensation will play an
important role in developing
and executing a strategy for
compensation that is aligned
with the goal of ensuring a
diverse, high performing
workforce. Key
Competencies: Business and
organizational acumen –
with ability to align
compensation strategy to
long and short term
University initiatives; a
bias toward problem solving
and “hands-on”
implementation; strong
influencing skills;
collaborative style, with
ability to build trusting
relationships; excellent
communication and
interpersonal skills; strong
analytic skills and facility
working with HR Information
Systems; patience to thrive
in a highly collaborative
and consensus driven
culture.
