What excites you the most about the future of our industry as a Talent Solutions provider?
I’m excited by the challenge our industry faces and the position GattiHR finds itself in to take that on. We’ve been experts in our craft for over 35 years but we also acknowledge the changing landscape of the sector we’re in. While many Firms are continuing business as usual we’re thinking about what our clients can really benefit from and what they truly value in our partnership.
What unique value do you bring to GattiHR as the new CEO?
I’d like to think the perspective I have is somewhat unique. I started my career with one of the big five retained search firms – learned a ton and had some great experiences. I then built and led two fortune 300 executive talent acquisition functions. Having seen ‘both sides of the table’ as both a provider and buyer I gained some interesting insights.
What is the biggest challenge you think you will face as CEO?
You mean aside from the global pandemic elephant in the room? : )
What is the best piece of advice you have ever been given?
It never hurts to have the conversation. Networking makes our business go-round and it’s also how our candidates can find some of the most interesting opportunities of their career. Putting yourself in a position to have options never hurt anyone.
What can our current and future clients expect of us in the days, weeks, months, and years to come?
GattiHR has been and will remain synonymous with Quality, Expertise, Partnership, and Speed these are the values that will always be our foundation. Our clients can expect more of the same with the addition of deeper expertise and additional service offerings.
Since you are based in Chicago, what is your favorite thing to do/see/eat in the Chicago area?
I’m a New Englander at heart, but after years of living steps from Wrigley Field, it’s hard to beat an afternoon at Clark and Addison.
