GATTIHR RETAINED TO BUILD LEGAL ASSISTANCE WORKFORCE FOR MASSACHUSETTS COVID EVICTION LEGAL HELP PROGRAM

GattiHR to use its TalentBoost™ cloud platform to source, recruit and assess legal help

QUINCY, MA, November 9, 2020 – GattiHR has been retained to build a legal assistance workforce for the COVID Eviction Legal Help (CELH) Program in Massachusetts.  GattiHR will use its high-velocity recruiting platform TalentBoost™ to support this initiative. TalentBoost™ is an integrated HR Operations platform, combining people, processes and technologies for recruiting, training, on-boarding and on-going workforce management.  The Massachusetts Legal Assistance Corporation (MLAC) will coordinate the deployment of more than 100 staff to communities through 6 Legal Aid Organizations (LAOs).

In early October, Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker announced the administration is making a $171 million total commitment this fiscal year to this initiative to support housing stability programs and legal assistance resource, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As part of this initiative, the CELH program has been launched to help provide legal representation and related services to income eligible, COVID-19 impacted tenants and landlords as they navigate the eviction process.

“We’re so pleased that the TalentBoost™ team will have an opportunity to help build another organization to fight the effects of this crisis,” said Tom Connolly, CEO of GattiHR.  “Once again, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is leading the way in mitigating the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on our communities.”

TalentBoost™ has developed a solid track record for standing up and sustaining rapidly deployed workforces and will manage this staffing process, including sourcing, applicant tracking, assessment, and required vetting procedures like criminal background checking and reference collection; host and deliver all relevant orientation and training; and provide the infrastructure and expertise necessary to support LAO’s with systems and processes for record-keeping, timekeeping, on-going performance management, workforce analytics, outcomes assessment and integration with/reporting to relevant constituents at the Commonwealth.
