GattiHR Selected by Partners in Health to Recruit COVID-19 Contact Tracers in New Initiative Announced by Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker

GattiHR to use its TalentBoost™ cloud platform to source, recruit and assess Contact Tracers

QUINCY, MA, April 3, 2020 – GattiHR, a leading HR consulting firm, has been retained by Partners in Health – a Boston-based global health organization globally recognized for its work on pandemic mitigation– to recruit 1,000 COVID-19 Contact Tracers in Massachusetts as part of a new national initiative announced today by Governor Charlie Baker. Contact Tracers identify individuals who may have come in physical contact with a COVID-19-infected person and then collect further information about these contacts.

By tracing the physical contacts of COVID-19 infected people, public health aims to reduce COVID-19 infections. GattiHR is using its proprietary platform, TalentBoost™, to source, recruit and assess the 1,000 Contact Testers. TalentBoost has been specifically built by GattiHR to support high-volume, high-velocity staffing and training initiatives.

“Contact tracing is a recognized and effective strategy for ‘flattening the curve’ in a pandemic,” said GattiHR CEO Tom Connolly.  “It’s painstaking, tedious, investigatively-intensive work, requiring excellent communication skills.  Contact tracers must be empathetic and compassionate, but they must also be incredibly thorough, perseverant and clinically dispassionate.

“We’re reaching out to the HR community asking for your ideas and support with this initiative. We need to have this cohort in place as soon as possible,” he said.

GattiHR has established a dedicated a dedicated email inbox — HelpUsHelp@GattiHR.com — to encourage the HR community to provide information on individual candidates or groups of individuals who may be a good fit. All suggested candidates will be reviewed and followed up on by GattiHR.
